These photos were taken at Big Bear Lake on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, after our Big Bear Medicine Wheel Ceremony Training Class. It had snowed 2 feet overnight!  On Friday, the 29th, the local ski resorts opened, a full month earlier than scheduled.  For the first time ever, a Southern California ski resort was open for a "white Halloween"!
