This light shines bright in magical rainbow colors Touching mother earth, touching father sky bringing in change and transformation. We are rushing and moving along toward a new paradigm Thank you mother earth, thank you father sky and all who have participated in this event. We will continue to weave the rainbows until our precious planet and all upon it are fully awakened to its glorious birth of unconditional love. Your sister in spirit, Satya (Esther Venzlaff) |

At 5:45am the gates to the parking lot were still locked. The wind was blowing fiercely at the entrance to the beach – each one had to pass through this “wind tunnel” before arriving at the chosen site for the ceremony.
The wind seemed to blow away negative energy & purify our energy fields -preparing us for the ceremony. Once we arrived at the site, the wind was calm; we were in a protected little cove, a sacred place where the ancient ones were waiting to join us. With our sacred fire burning brightly, we were then purified with the smudging and Lonnie’s wonderful incense.
Some could feel them, some could see them - the ancient ones, the ascended masters, the ancestors, the elementals, the archangels, the thunderbirds – All were invited, All were present - the beach was filled with their presence. (Even Lonnie’s 4-legged’s were there, her 2 dogs were ever so reverently quiet)
With Esther, Rosalia, Sharon, Pamela, Judy, Kathy, Charlotte, Lonnie, and I we greeted the dawn, we greeted the four directions. Some sensed the spokes to the North/Northeastern were weak, we sent our loving energy to assist them. With Kathy leading, we did a lovely shawl dance. There was drumming and music and the energy was swirling. We were dancing and chanting and the energy grew and with Doris, Raella and Susan we shared intentions and stories.
Paul and David arrived, bringing much needed and appreciated male energy to merge and balance the lovely feminine energy that had begun the ceremony. As Paul added his blessings to our altar, Sharon and I added sacred vibuti (blessed by Sai Baba) to the sea and our to fire – uniting East and West – mental and emotional, physical and spiritual. When we went to put our feet in the water, we were caught off guard by a surprise wave – drenching us –yet another purification on this sacred, sacred day.
Around our medicine wheel altar, which was adorned with lovely crystals, rose petals, shells, sweet grass, beads, sage, and more – we shared stories and continued our dancing with drumming, rattles, chimes and crashing ocean waves in harmony. Even the island of Catalina had cast off her shroud of smog and fog to show her presence and join us. As Wendy, Wanda, Mary Geiger and Laurie arrived and joined in we celebrated the earth as the earth celebrated us - healing and loving each other. The Great Council of the Grandmothers spoke through Sharon, offering their services to assist us in all our earth healing efforts. Pamela led us in a wonderful earth meditation where each one was gifted with the blessings of Mother Earth.
As the sun crested in the sky and the it’s rays infused our altar and our spirits with the blessings of the light. As Esther offered our closing prayer, we lovingly dismantled and closed our medicine wheel and altar. Judy, our sacred firekeeper remained until the last embers of our sacred fire disappeared.
When all was said and done, there were 18 who participated at Aliso State Beach. 8+1 representing the 8 spokes and the 1 hub of the Big Bear Medicine Wheel – How Perfect!
