The Medicine Wheel Trail

On the evening of November 7, 2004, I had a dream vision of several dark-haired people, one in particular with a long face that approached me with a message.  They made it very clear they were the 'six fingered Shoshone people'.  I was impressed that this extra finger was a very spiritual tool connecting them with the spirit world.  However, at this time it made very little sense to me since I hadn't yet heard of the 'five fingered' ones. I was then compelled to write this down, but the vision was not over.

Though this approach is not new to me, it was awe inspiring.  Soon, they led me through a beautiful green forest, through crackling leaves and pine needles.  Dappled sunlight danced on the trees of pine and oak, while coyotes, squirrels and raccoons scurried into view.  Underfoot was a meandering dirt path among the giants leading to a distant clearing.  We continued while the clearing became evident of a type of interpretive trail.  This Medicine Wheel was made of several upright slate petroglyphs at each point.  These stood at approximately 8' tall x 5' wide.  The first one I saw clearly was carved in detail with shading of a mountainside covered by trees.  Through the rustling wind, I could hear the message that this giant Medicine Wheel was a modern petroglyph garden to remember the way to heal Mother Earth.  Again I was led to write this message to share with you.
