The Planets Speak About Nov. 15

The planetary energies today are most appropriate for this is Healing Ceremony for the benefit of Mother Earth, the Sacred Body that we call home.  The planets are so aligned this morning as to give us a moment in which the prayers of those gathered here may be mingled with the voice of Wankan Tonka.  Together, we are heard in the heart of Mother Earth.  We are empowered to be the intermediaries carrying the wishes of the Father for blessings and benefits for the Mother.  In so doing, we awaken Her own power to heal and realign Herself so that Her changes are experienced by us mild reminders of her greatness.  We give Gratitude for this blessing.

As the Sun rises in the East, it is in Scorpio, the most intense of all the signs.  As such, the Will or focused intent of the Ceremony acts with the most intense energy level possible.  This allows us to bring our strongest collective passion to the healing that we call forth.  In this ceremony, words of wisdom will be spoken which will not only call in the energy of healing but which will also lighten our hearts, uplift our minds and soothe our souls.  Through our words and deeds here today, we become an inspiration to others so that they too may find the Peace that we seek.

The journey along the Path of Ageless Wisdom that we walk in this moment asks us to be nurturing, protective, tenacious, emotionally sensitive, self-assured and assertive.  We are all these things.  The promise of the planetary alignments of this dawn is that the highest goals of our collective energy are realized.  By expressing our commitment, our individual natures and our ideals, we call forth a Planet and a sacred circle that is transformed, healed, whole and complete.

In participating in this Ceremony of common conscious intent, we consciously demonstrate our Love, Gratitude, and commitment to the Mother who has given us all that we are, all that we have and all that we need.  In this moment our relationship with Her is most important to us.  The planets also allow us to speak as surrogates for those who would have been here with us but whose obligations keep them from attending.  As part of this the new group of “World Servers” we join with All Our Relations in dedicating our collective highest goal to healing our Great Mother.  As we are deeply attuned to this collective prayer we become the planets, for they are truly all within us, as they are within the Mother – and the prayer of each one of us reveals itself in Her healing.

Astrologically, the chart for this ceremony is very much attuned to just such a healing for Mother Earth.  Saturn, the primary Earth planet, is prominently featured in the chart.  It is in the 9th house, the house that the ancients called “God.”  What this means is that it is in the area of the chart that is most attuned to being focused on what we call Wanken Tanka.  It brings Saturn’s intensity to this moment. Add to this the fact that Saturn receives aspects (energy flows) from eight other planets in the chart, as well as the Ascendant, and we can see how the energy flows to it.   The chart for the opening of the ceremony:

Although not usually strong in Cancer, Saturn is retrograde in motion, turned from outward action toward inner-directed self-examination.  This happens while it is in the sign of the nurturing mother, Cancer.  Here, Saturn must face the internal feminine part of himself, a very important condition considering that the Feminine Principle has been so prominent during this current Grand Quintile, five-pointed Star Pentagram sequence that began on October 1st and will last until November 24th.  And speaking of the Feminine Principle, Venus, the planet that rules the Earth, is in a very strong position in the 12th house in the sign Libra, one of the two signs that it rules, and so is brimming with positive “Homeward” energy.  The square aspect provides Saturn with a gentle, well-intentioned, Divine Feminine prod to its quest for its connection to that which we call “God.”

The other planets each add their specific impulse to Saturn’s drive to reach communion with Wanken Tanka.  Jupiter, the planet that represents Wanken Tanka in astrology, sends its expansive qualities and beneficial rays to Saturn via the very creative and transformative aspect called a Quintile.  Mars in Scorpio, another planet that is happy in a sign that it rules in this chart, is pressing Saturn through a stimulative square with its transformative Scorpionic energy.  The Sun and the Ascendant are conjunct, meaning that they work together in this moment to bring the Sun’s most positive masculine energy and the Ascendant’s intense transformative vision to Saturn’s journey of Self-discovery.  They do it over the “open line” of communication of their trine (120°) aspects to Saturn.

Another important consideration here is the Sun’s Sabian Symbol: “Crowds coming down the mountain to listen to one man.”  This is a strong support for the personal energy of the ceremonial leader, and indicates that he or she holds the vision of the “through path” to Saturn’s healing.  This aspect of healing is amplified by Chiron’s Sextile to the Sun and, in a repeat performance from last year’s Harmonic Concordance, by the Chiron/Saturn opposition.  This is another great opportunity for the healing of this “father and son” relationship that Saturn and Chiron represent.  Saturn, being the ultimate planet related to matter has the opportunity in this moment to Cross Chiron’s rainbow bridge between matter and Spirit, and to accept the offer of the Spiritual Healing of their Relationship.

Speaking of relationships, the Earth, usually depicted as being directly opposite to the Sun in a chart, is, in this chart, on the cusp of the 7th house.  This is the house that represents “All My Relations.” an indication that the healing of Saturn (remember that Saturn is the planet that most resonates with Mother Earth) is supported by all of Them.  And, it is in Taurus, the primary Earth Sign.

Pluto and Uranus are also involved in Saturn’s process through a long-duration Quintile Yod.  These slower moving “generational,” outer planets are often referred to as relating to aspects of the higher self. They affect the mass consciousness of whole waves of people.   This Quintile Yod brings together the energy of deep transformational change (Pluto) for this “wave” of time, tempered by our “conversation with God” (Uranus), and our focus on the things taken seriously (Saturn).  Take together, they bring their combined weight to bear on the main intent of those gathered here this day.  By virtue of its Tridecile aspect to the Midheaven Pluto also brings its Truth seeking (Sagittarius) transformative intensity to what we do here publicly (MC).  Through this same spiritually creative Tridecile aspect, Neptune also pipes in to impart its humanitarian (Aquarius) Spiritual nature to the planet that represents the Divine Feminine Principle, Venus, which in turn is the planet that rules Earth.  All, very positive aspects.

Sandwiched between Jupiter and Neptune in a Minor Grand Trine configuration, Mercury facilitates the communication between our spiritual nature and our concept of God, making the moment one in which spiritual mysteries are more clearly understood.

The Moon in Capricorn in the 2nd house tells us that the moment is ripe for a new expression of our highest ideals and needs, and the truest measure of our deepest values.  The North Node in the 6th house in Taurus says that it is the destiny of this Sacred Ceremony to provide a healing service to Mother Earth.

Finally, it is important to remember, in this ceremonial moment, the phrase “As Above, So Below.”  For while the planets are indeed “out there,” they are also “in here.”  These are the energies that are flowing within us too in this Moment.

Indeed, it is a good day for Ceremony, and we are deeply grateful to Bennie and Jola for bringing this work to our neck of the woods.

Aho!
Johnny
